Computerized Analysis

With the delicate design of the on-board computer system intended to monitor the relay of information to and from sensors, and the harsh environment of the roads, grease, and vibrations, it is easy to imagine how often these sensors malfunction. The on-board computer monitors the input and output of various sensors that monitor nearly all of the car’s functions, including emissions, the engine’s performance, air conditioning, cruise control, air bags, and automatic transmission. When out of balance, the computer will malfunction and the wrong information is relayed back and forth, causing the car to malfunction. At Falls Church Automotive, we can identify your problem and fix it. Some of the methods used in identifying the problem include:
  • Checking the input and output signals of each sensor.
  • Checking the ignition system.
  • Checking for misfires and detonation.
  • Performing compression tests.
  • Checking all computer pins for problem, up to and including OBD II
  • Perform power balance.
